The story behind this website

Let me, please, to introduce a little bit myself and this website.

My name is Šárka Novotná, see my Linkedin profile here. I come from the small central European country called the Czech Republic. Maybe you don´t know this country, but probably you have already heard about Prague, the Capital of the Czech Republic.

I successfully completed my studies in Mathematics at University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. As a mum of two boys, who were 7 and 10 years old, I created MathEasily.com in spring 2020.

With our kids in Prague, the Capital of the Czech Republic.

Year 2020 was different for all of us. Due to C@vid 19, there was a lockdown and I have to teach my kids at home. Our school didn´t have any experience with online learning. When I had to teach my kids at home, I realized how demanding is to be a teacher.

My younger son liked to solve math crossword puzzles but there were only a few worksheets available online.

Another problem was, that we didn´t have a printer at home. I told myself: "It would be nice to have something like unlimited live worksheets, which you can solve online and you will see the right answer immediately."

So, I came to the idea to develop online math puzzles, which you don´t need to print and which are eco-friendly because you don´t need to use paper.
